With an ever-increasing number of vehicles on the road and a resulting increase in road accidents, governments spring into action. It is expected that road accidents cost most of the countries around 3% of their annual GDP. According to the World Health Organization, an estimated 1.25 million people die each year from road accidents, which is also the leading cause of death among people aged 15-29 years. One of the major reasons behind road accidents is human error, especially distracted driving, accounting for more than 80% of road accidents.
