The new platform will help automakers monetize their data and differentiate their brands

Continental and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) have jointly developed a new platform for sharing vehicle data to enable new digital services that improve driver safety and convenience, the Germany-based automotive supplier said in a press release on 26 February. The new platform, based on blockchain technology, will help automakers monetize their data and differentiate their brands. Continental and HPE are showcasing the new monetization platform with a driving simulator at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The two partners aim to make the new platform available to customers this year.
