Carbon, Lamborghini partner to digitally produce auto parts
Lamborghini will use Carbon technology to produce components such as fuel caps, clips for air ducts at large scale
Carbon, a US-based company specializing in digital manufacturing platform, has entered a partnership with sports car maker Lamborghini, the company said in a press release on 11 February. The strategic partnership will allow the Italian carmaker to produce some components at scale using Carbon’s proprietary technology. A textured fuel cap and a clip component for an air duct will be the first components Lamborghini will produce for its Urus SUV using Carbon’s technology.
