NVIDIA to create new AI architecture for Mercedes vehicles
New architecture will replace dozens of ECUs that power various functions in vehicles currently
Mercedes-Benz has selected NVIDIA to create a new artificial intelligence (AI) architecture for its next-generation vehicles, NVIDIA said in a blog. “We’re announcing a new partnership going forward, creating a computer that defines the future of autonomous vehicles, the future of AI and the future of mobility,” NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said while announcing the partnership during the CES 2019 in Las Vegas (United States) earlier this month.
