Geely, CATL to set up new JV for NEV batteries
Geely Auto will hold 49% stake and CATL will hold 51%
Chinese battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) and automaker Geely Auto have reached an agreement to set up a new joint venture (JV) for developing and producing new energy vehicle (NEV) batteries, Geely Auto announced in a press release on 20 December.
