Aisin Seiki, ADVICS, JTKET, Denso agree to form company to develop software for autonomous driving
New company ‘J-QuAD Dynamics’ will be established in April 2019 after regulatory approval from antitrust authorities
Aisin Seiki, ADVICS, JTEKT and Denso have formally agreed to form a new joint-venture (JV) company to develop integrated electronic control unit (ECU) software for “automated driving, vehicle motion control and other related functions”, the companies said in a joint press release on 26 December. The new company called J-QuAD Dynamics will be established in April 2019 after regulatory approval from antitrust authorities.
