Free2Move launches electric car-sharing service in Chinese city Wuhan

Company starts the service with 300 EVs; plans to expand fleet size to 3,000 EVs next year

On 28 September, PSA’s mobility unit Free2Move launched car-sharing service, called ‘Yiweixiang Free2Move Carsharing’ in Wuhan, China, the French automaker said in a press release. The car-sharing service is operated by Fengbiao Company, a joint-venture (JV) in which PSA has 50% stake, while Dongfeng Electric Vehicle and Wuhan Electric Vehicle Demonstration Co. has own 30% and 20% stakes, respectively.
