Japan Auto Recycling Partnership, a Tokyo-based organization set up by the automotive industry, to run the project

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) has unveiled a joint project by Japanese automakers to collect used lithium-ion batteries and build a recycling system, reported Japan News on 5 September.
