German lidar start-up Blickfeld increases seed funding to USD10 million

Company will use the additional capital for the first series production and further strengthening of the team

Blickfeld, a Germany-based lidar start-up has increased its seed funding to USD10 million from USD4.25 million raised in October last year, the company said in a press release on 28 August. All existing investors– OSRAM Ventures, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Tengelmann Ventures, and Unternehmertum Venture Capital Partners— which participated in initial seed funding round, have invested in the latest round. Blickfeld will use the additional capital for the first series production and strengthening its team further. The company currently has 35 employees.
