3GPP members freeze features for standards of 5G’s first version ‘Release 15’
Automotive industry is expected to be one of the key beneficiaries of the upcoming 5G network
In June this year, engineers from leading networking companies that are associated with the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) met in La Jolla, California (United States) to work out the remaining issues and plan for the release of fifth-generation (5G) network by the end of this year or early next year, according to Axios.
