ACEA says these measures will damage competitiveness of the European automotive industry

The European Commission (EC) has announced provisional safeguard measures to curb import of steel products in the European Union (EU), according to a press release by EC on 18 July. To safeguard interest of domestic steel industry, EC has decided to impose import tariff quota of 25% on 23 steel product categories.
