Geely develops new modular architecture for B-segment vehicles
Chinese automaker plans to launch first vehicle based on the new platform later this year
Geely Auto has developed a new modular architecture, BMA (B-segment Modular Architecture), for compact cars, including sport utility vehicles (SUV), multi-purpose (MPV), sedans, crossovers and wagons, according to a press release on 14 July. The new platform accommodates multi-power system that carries 1.0TD, 1.4T and 1.5TD combustion engines, plug-in hybrid and mild-hybrid configuration.
