Renovo selects Velodyne as reference lidar for AWare operating platform
Two companies announced partnership to include Velodyne sensor in Renovo AWare operating platform in November last year
Renovo and Velodyne have announced that Velodyne’s VLS-128 lidar is now part of Renovo reference configuration for highly automated vehicles powered by its AWare operating system, the two companies said in a press release on 27 June. Inclusion of Velodyne’s lidar to the Renovo AWare ecosystem offers fleet operators with the range, resolution and accuracy needed to guide autonomous vehicles safely through complex driving conditions.
