New Volkswagen Touareg features 'Traffic Jam Assist’ system
System helps the SUV maintain a consistent distance from the vehicle ahead at speeds of up to 60 km/h
Volkswagen (VW) has equipped its new Touareg SUV with ‘Traffic Jam Assist’ system, the automaker said in a press release last week. The new system combines the functions of the camera-based lane assist and the radar-based adaptive cruise control (ACC) and helps the SUV maintain a consistent distance from the vehicle ahead at speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour (km/h).
