CEBIT 2018: Huawei unveils ‘OceanConnect’ IOV platform for connected vehicles

Chinese company partnered with PSA for developing connected vehicle platform; also collaborating with FAW and GAC Group

At the CEBIT 2018 trade fair in Hanover, Germany, Huawei launched its ‘OceanConnect’ Internet of Vehicles (IOV) platform with a goal to digitize every vehicle, the Chinese information and communication technology (ICT) company said in a press release last week. The new platform enables intelligent and connected vehicles, service transformation for automakers and the evolution of intelligent transportation.
