Civil Maps partners with Renovo to offer HD mapping and localization solutions to automakers
Collaboration will enable self-driving systems integrated with Renovo AWare to be immediately compatible with key aspects of Civil Maps HD mapping and localization platform
Civil Maps has teamed up with software firm Renovo to provide autonomous vehicle manufacturers and technology providers with access to its high-definition (HD) mapping and localization solutions, the company said in a press release on 24 May. Renovo has developed Aware platform, an operating system specially built for autonomous driving. The collaboration between Civil Maps and Renovo will enable self-driving systems and other automotive modules integrated with AWare operating system, to be immediately compatible will key aspects of Civil Maps HD mapping and localization platform.
