Aisin Seiki to set up JVs with GAC Motor, Geely Automobile to produce automatic transmissions in China
JVs are expected to start operations in 2018
Aisin Seiki will set up two new joint ventures (JV) with Chinese automobile manufacturers Guangzhou Automobile Group Motor (GAC) and the other with Zhejiang Geely Luoyou Engine Co. (subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group) for manufacturing automatic transmissions (AT) in China, the company announced in a press release today (25 April).
