Ford leads USD65 million funding in 3D printing start-up Desktop Metal
US automaker has shown interest in 3D printing to produce large one-piece auto parts
Desktop Metal has raised USD65 million in new financing led by Ford, the US-based 3D printing start-up said in a press release on 19 March. Apart from Ford, the latest funding round was also participated by Dektop Metal’s existing investor, Future Fund.
