Bosch acquires US-based carpooling start-up SPLT
German supplier foresees strong growth in connected mobility services
Bosch has acquired Splitting Fare Inc. (SPLT), a US-based start-up that operates app-based carpooling service, the Germany-based automotive supplier said in a press release yesterday (21 February). Bosch did not disclose the financial details of the deal. SPLT operates a platform that allows companies, universities and municipal authorities to offer their employees ride-sharing services.
