Bosch releases preliminary figures for fiscal 2017; sales up 6.7% y/y to USD93.4 billion
Mobility Solutions sales improve 7.8% y/y
Bosch has reported 6.7% year-over-year (y/y) increase in sales to EUR78 billion (USD93.4 billion as on 31 December 2017) for the financial year ended 31 December 2017, according to preliminary figures released by the Germany-based automotive supplier today (30 January). The company’s sales during the year were impacted by unfavorable foreign exchange translations of EUR1.2 billion. Excluding foreign exchange impacts, sales increased by 8.3% y/y. Higher sales helped the company report EBIT of EUR5.3 billion and EBIT margin of 6.8%.
