PSA to use Opel plant in Eastern Europe to assemble engines – report
French automaker to use its Slovakia plant as base for CMP platform for B- segment vehicles for its four brands
PSA Group will use an existing plant of recently-acquired Opel in Eastern Europe to assemble 200,000 gasoline (petrol) engines annually instead of investing in new capacity at its own vehicle manufacturing site in Trnava, Slovakia as initially planned, Reuters reported French newspaper Les Echos saying on Thursday (23 November).
