Company could invest close to USD881 million in capacity expansion in China, US as well as in Japan

Japanese automotive supplier Panasonic is planning to increase its lithium-ion battery production in China and the United States, reports Nikkei Asian Review. Along with the planned capacity expansion in Japan announced last month, the company could invest close to JPY100 billion (USD881 million) in in ramping up capacities in three locations, the report said.
