Japanese automaker offering new Alexa service through NissanConnect Services

Nissan plans to integrate Amazon Alexa in its select models, the company said in a press release on 4 October. Beginning later this month, Nissan owners will be able to use a new skill for Amazon Alexa, powered by the automaker’s NissanConnect Services, to interact with their vehicles. The feature will enable Nissan owners to use voice commands to remotely lock/unlock their cars, honk the horn, flash the lights and start or stop the engine depending on the model.
