Lightweight 2D materials have good mechanical strength, flexibility

The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) has received USD1.44 million National Science Foundation grant to discover new 2D materials that can be applied in the manufacturing of better and cheaper batteries, UIC said in a report on its website on 27 September.
