Mercedes-Benz Research & Development has selected Velodyne’s VLP-32C Ultra Puck Lidar for further development of fully autonomous vehicles, the US-based Lidar specialist said in a press release last week. “We’re pleased to have our Lidar technology included in Mercedes-Benz’s sensor setup for their fully automated and driverless vehicles.
