Continental to conduct C-V2X field trials in select regions across the globe
German supplier will use Qualcomm C-V2X reference design with integrated 9150 C-V2X chipset to build connected car systems for field trials
Continental has announced plans to conduct field trials of cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) technologies in select regions across the world, the Germany-based company said in a press release on 13 September. The field trials will showcase capabilities of vehicle to vehicle (V2V), vehicle to infrastructure (V2I), vehicle to pedestrian (V2P) direct communication as well as vehicle to network (V2N) wide areas communications for next-generation connected and autonomous vehicles.
