ZF partners with University of California to develop solutions for self-driving vehicles
Two partners to focus on harnessing computer vision and deep learning for autonomous driving
German supplier ZF has entered into a research partnership with the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) in the United States to harness computer vision and deep learning for autonomous driving, the company said in a press release on 31 August. “Our latest research collaboration will significantly boost our Vision Zero Ecosystem in two areas that are key to fully autonomous driving – computer vision and deep learning,” said Dr. Stefan Sommer, CEO of ZF.
