Toyota invests in AI start-up PKSHA

Toyota and Mazda have joined forces to develop a smart-car control platform for their next-generation vehicles, Nikkei Asian Review reported on 26 August. The two Japanese automakers will share a Linux-based core system which will control navigation, music, video and smartphone connectivity in their vehicles. However, they will develop their own features and applications separately to run on the control system.
