Autoliv, Seeing Machines to jointly develop driver-monitoring systems for autonomous vehicles

Swedish supplier will be responsible for producing and supplying driver monitoring systems to automotive customers

Autoliv has joined forces with Australia-based Seeing Machines to develop next-generation driver-monitoring systems (DMS) for autonomous vehicles, the company said in a press release on 17 August. Seeing Machines specializes in computer vision-based technologies that enable machine to see, understand and assist people.
