LexisNexis Risk Solutions collaborates with Mitsubishi to develop usage-based insurance solutions

First automaker to connect its vehicles to LexisNexis Telematics Exchange

Mitsubishi Motors has reached an agreement with LexisNexis Risk Solutions to connect its vehicles directly to LexisNexis Telematics Exchange, the US-based data analytics company said in a press release earlier this month. LexisNexis’ solution LexisNexis Telematics Exchange collects, process and scores telematics data from many sources, including automakers, OBDII (on-bard diagnostics) devices, 12 V devices and smartphone apps. The partnership aims to design usage-based insurance (UBI) solutions for Mitsubishi vehicle owners and drivers in the United States.
