Joint research to mainly focus on data security and privacy

Honda Research Institute (HRI), a Honda R&D subsidiary, and Boston University have agreed to begin joint research in the area of artificial intelligence (AI), says a Honda Motor press release. The joint research will mainly focus on data security and privacy, for which Honda has specifically chosen Boston University’s Rafik B. Hariri Institute for Computing and Computational Science & Engineering as one strategic collaboration partner.
