Shanghai Auto Show 2017: Faurecia shows new HMI, infotainment and cockpit innovations
Also showcases emission saving solutions, lightweight bio-materials for interior components
Faurecia is showcasing its latest innovations at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show in China, the company said in a press release on 19 April. Among the key products and technologies on display are smart surfaces that show the company’s expertise in integrating electronics, display and decoration parts into the vehicle for human-machine interface (HMI) and connectivity experience, and Active Wellness™ 2.0, a second-generation smart seat that measures driver’s biological and behavioral points through embedded sensors and optical devices and take steps to counteract drowsiness or stress and prepare the driver to re-engage with the vehicle when leaving autonomous mode.
