Baidu plans to roll out autonomous car technology in July
Chinese firm to share most of its self-driving technology with others to drive development of such vehicles
Baidu plans to launch its self-driving car technology in July this year, Reuters reported on Tuesday (18 April), citing the Chinese internet company. The company’s self-driving car platform, dubbed ‘Project Apollo’, will initially allow automated driving in restricted environment before enabling fully autonomous driving on highways and city roads by 2020.
