Plans to develop most of the technologies for autonomous driving system in-house

Hyundai Mobis is focusing on the development of driver assistance systems that would enable highly automated driving. According to Automotive News, the leading Korean supplier unveiled its strategy for self-driving cars under which it aims to develop Level 3 autonomous driving ability by 2020 and then mass produce it for production cars two years later. Hyundai Mobis also aims to put a Level 2 highway driving system into mass production by 2019.
