Seoul National University to test self-driving car SNUver on city roads
SNUver features 64 Lidars, offers Level 3 autonomy
A team of researchers at South Korea’s Seoul National University (SNU) has received approval from the Korean government to test an autonomous car on city roads, Pulse News reported last week. The team aims to test the autonomous car called SNUver on the streets of Yeouido, Western Seoul, from next month. The autonomous car is equipped with 64 Lidar sensors that use laser beams to detect external environment of the self-driving car.
