Honda’s connected car platform to leverage IOT from Cisco Jasper and BrightBox
Japanese automaker gearing up to launch connected car services across all European countries
Honda will use technologies from Cisco Jasper and BrightBox to deliver ‘MyHonda Connected Car’ platform, according to a press release by Cisco. The connected car platform will use BrightBox’s telematics solutions, which is powered by the Cisco Jasper Control Center automated Internet of Things (IOT) connectivity management platform, to deliver a variety of connected services. “The IOT services that Bright Box and Cisco Jasper enable us to deliver help ensure that Honda drivers receive the best possible driving experience,” said Sandra Hughes, head of marketing and product management at Honda Motor Europe.
