Renault-Nissan partners with Transdev for electric self-driving car fleet
Companies to test jointly developed technology in Paris-Saclay area in France
Renault-Nissan Alliance has teamed up with Transdev to jointly develop self-driving electric car fleet for public and on-demand transportation such as car-sharing, the French automaker said in a press release on 27 February. Under the agreement, the companies will collaborate to develop a comprehensive, modular transportation system to enable customers to book rides and mobility operators to efficiently operate self-driving car fleets. The collaboration also includes field tests by the two partners in Paris-Saclay, France with Renault Zoe electric car and Transdev’s on-demand dispatch, supervision and routing platform.
