Indian start-up Lithium Urban plans fleet of 1,000 EVs, partners with Mahindra Electric
Company plans to expand operations in many Indian cities and foray into cargo transportation segment
Lithium Urban Technologies, a zero-emission fleet service provider India, plans to build a fleet of 1,000 electric vehicles (EVs) over the next 18-24 months, The Economic Times reported on 20 February. According to the report, the Bangalore (India)-based start-up has reached a long-term partnership with Mahindra Electric, the electric car unit of Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M), to procure EVs for corporate transport.
