New catalyst can withstand heat of up to 900ºC

Hyundai, along with its affiliate Kia, and a team of researchers led by Professor Hong Suk-bong at Pohang University of Science and Technology, have developed a new catalyst, Cu-LTA, to be used in the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) device in diesel vehicles, according to a report by The Korea Herald.
