On Daimler’s buses equipped with EHPS, steering assist can now be used regardless of engine speed

Daimler Buses has started using electrohydraulic power steering (EHPS) to cut fuel consumption of its vehicles, Autocar Professional reported on 19 October. This fully integrated system replaces the conventional power steering pumps used in all buses with a gross weight of over 7.5 tons.
