Renault Nissan has unveiled what is billed as the first production-ready variable compression engine at the 2016 Paris motor show. Infiniti, Nissan’s premium brand, will be the first to offer the new VC-T (Variable Compression-Turbocharged) engine as a replacement for the existing 3.5-litre V6. The new 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine produces about 200kW and marginally less than 400Nm of torque.
