Aftermarket infotainment solutions thrive in price sensitive Brazilian market

In Brazil, display audio and navigation solutions are just now becoming available to local car buyers. Chevrolet, as a local producer, was the pioneer in this area. It was the first to offer a 7-inch touchscreen MyLink solution on the 2013 Onix. With the slogan “Bring Your Own Media,” Chevrolet tried to inspire consumers to see the value add of display audio, a technology unknown outside of the luxury segment.
