Bose and Harman continue to dominate the branded audio market

Branded audio is still reserved primarily for luxury and high-end vehicles. In the luxury vehicle segment, branded audio is one of the key features for OEMs to differentiate their brands from their competitors. It also has one of the highest margins when it comes to automotive components. On the other hand, the availability of branded audio is limited in the compact car and high-volume vehicle segments where many car buyers in the segments tend to be more price sensitive.
