Valeo presents 48V e4Boost powertrain system at 2016 Beijing Auto Show
Comprises a 48V electric supercharger, belt starter generator iBSG 48V
Valeo is presenting a 48V e4Boost powertrain system at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show, according to a press release on 25 April. The system comprises a 48V electric supercharger and a belt starter generator iBSG 48V, along with regenerative braking through which energy is stored in a 48V battery. The company also unveiled the second-generation InBlue vehicle entry/start system, a Remote Clean4U system to remotely defrost and clean their windshield via a smartphone application and a PM2.5 filter.
