To hold talks with a number of potential partners during a Russian business mission to Cairo.

Russia's largest truck-maker, KamAZ, is looking to form a partnership with an Egyptian firm to assemble trucks in Egypt, according to an Interfax news agency report. A company representative will hold talks with a number of potential partners during a Russian business mission to Cairo. In a statement, KamAZ said, "One option is to supply automotive chassis to plants that produce bodies, including buses, garbage trucks, dump trucks. APE commercial companies will be offered vehicles to transport heavy and outsize freight, including those based on KamAZ chasses and fueled with natural gas." There is a relatively high use of compressed natural gas (CNG) tucks in Egypt, so KamAZ sees this as an opportunity.
