Chrysler recalls Wrangler vehicles in China over fire risk
Involves Wrangler sport utility vehicles (SUVs) produced between 28 June 2010 and 21 July 2014
The Chinese regulatory body, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), has issued a recall notice for 14,213 Chrysler Wrangler vehicles over fire risk, reports state-owned Xinhua News Agency. The recall has begun today (2 March) and involves Wrangler sport utility vehicles (SUVs) produced between 28 June 2010 and 21 July 2014. Under the recall, the automaker offers to repair the faulty parts free of charge.
