Tata Motors forecasts that nearly 50% of its passenger vehicles sold in 2020 will be equipped with automated manual transmission (AMT). A report by the Press Trust of India quotes Tata president and head of advanced and product engineering, Tim Leverton, as saying, "Yes, we are looking at introducing AMT technology in the future models.
