China protests as US sets import duties on Chinese tyres
Preliminary rulings to be made final on 11 June
The United States has set preliminary import duties on tyres made in China, reports Reuters. The new decision was made on Wednesday (21 January) and the US Department of Commerce has set the tariff at up to 87.99% on car and light truck tyres made in China and imported into the US.
