Toyota consolidates seat production
Announce organisational changes
Toyota has announced that it will consolidate the seat manufacturing operations of its four units under one umbrella by 2016. According to a report by the Nikkei, Aisin Seiki, Shiroki, and Toyota Auto Body, which currently make electric components, seat recliners, and seat frames respectively, are expected to merge these operations with Toyota Boshoku.
