Opel spokesperson said the Corsa production cuts were due to model cycle issues.

Opel has said that it will reduce production of its Adam A-segment and Corsa B-segment passenger cars at its Eisenach plant in Germany, according to Automotive News Europe (ANE). An Opel spokesperson said the Corsa production cuts were due to model cycle issues. He said, "We are having some down days in October, mainly because of the Corsa production, a model which is in the later stages of its life cycle," However, reports that the slowdown in Adam production was due to falling decline for the model which was only launched at the beginning of the year were dismissed as "speculation". The spokesperson described Adam sales as "fine".
